Body Found in Lackawaxen River Identified

HAWLEY — State police in Wayne County believe they found the body of a man that has been missing for almost two months.

Troopers say trout fishermen came upon the body of Richard Calvitti, 69, in the Lackawaxen River Sunday morning.

The man from Hawley went missing back in February.

An autopsy was done on Monday. The coroner ruled the death a suicide.
