CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP — A plea deal is being worked out in Monroe County for a woman accused of killing someone with her car.
Luz Mujica of Saylorsburg gave up her right to a hearing on Friday and now plans to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and DUI next month.
The deal means she admits being under the influence when she lost control of her car and hit a tree in 2013 near Brodheadsville, killing a passenger.
Mujica is scheduled to be in court again in May.
