WEST CAMERON TOWNSHIP --- A home is destroyed and a family is homeless after a fire Monday night in Northumberland County.
Heavy smoke could be seen pouring from the property on Heinzelman Road.
Firefighters spent hours getting the fire under control.
At this time there are no reports of any injuries.
The West Cameron Fire Chief told Newswatch 16 that because of the remote location of the home, they had difficulty getting water to the scene. It took four firetrucks to get water to the driveway.
A State Police fire marshal is expected to be at the scene of the fire on Tuesday to try to determine a cause.
