DUNMORE — It was the blood drive with a twist Tuesday morning in Lackawanna County.
Radio station Rock 107 and the American Red Cross co-sponsored this collection at the YMCA in Dunmore.
A similar collection was held at the YMCA in Wilkes-Barre.
Donors received the satisfaction they’re helping save lives and got two tickets to Rock 107’s anniversary party at the Woodlands in Plains Township later this month.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are the headliners.
The Red Cross says it really needs the help because fewer people showed up to donate blood during the long and snowy winter.
