BLAKELY -- A new world record was set in Lackawanna County on Saturday.
According to officials at the Keystone State Breaking Championships, 10th degree black belt Paul Hickey broke the world record for smashing four patio blocks with his elbow.
Representatives from the United States and World Breaking Association were on hand to witness the event.
The world record breaking event was held at Spectrum Health Club.
