The ski resort hosted its annual "Ski for the Cure" today to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Hundreds of people hit the slopes. Among them cancer survivors, and friends and family of those who have battled the disease.
Money raised from the event will go to Susan G. Komen of Northeastern PA, which in turn helps other non-profits that assist cancer patients.
Survivors say we've come a long way in the fight against cancer.
"20 years ago about this time I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and I'm here," said survivor Jennifer Forstell.
There was plenty to do off the slopes as well including live music, raffles, games and giveaways.
