UPDATE: Route 54 was reopened around noon.
PennDOT officials tell us the east and west bound lanes on Route 54 north of Washingtonville are closed as of 5:00 a.m. Monday.
Due to a motor vehicle crash, power lines are down across the road at the crash scene in Montour County.
Traffic is being detoured onto Strawberry Ridge Road, PPL Road and Arrowhead Road.
