A couple from Lycoming County will soon be saying “I Do” live on national television.

Jeremy Lazorka and Alex Rall won a free wedding last Friday on Good Morning America`s “Epic Wedding Contest” on WNEP.

It was this moment on live television last Friday that Jeremy Lazorka and Alex Rall's wildest dreams came true.

The engaged couple from Jersey Shore competed against other couples in Good Morning America`s
“Epic Wedding Showdown” and won the ultimate prize.

A free wedding to be aired live on GMA with the morning show on ABC providing everything that comes with it.

“Rings, gowns, tuxes for myself, our fathers and the groomsmen, they said cash prize,” said Lazorka.  “Cake is provided by the Cake Boss, Buddy Valestro is going to do that for us.”

“To know that you could have most everything covered for was awesome, of course every wedding is somewhat a finance burden so just to not have to worry about that was a big blessing,” said Rall.

Speaking with Newswatch 16 at Jeremy's parents’ house near Williamsport, the couple, who had been planning to marry this August, said they never thought they'd actually win.

They said it was the support across the country that really helped.

“We had the highest number of votes, 70 percent of the country voted for us that Friday morning, so we got an extra hundred points to start,” said Lazorka.

The couple heads to New York City, with the next days a whirlwind of activity, taping segments with Good Morning America.

Then it`s on to the big day when they tie the knot on live television on GMA on Valentine`s Day this Friday.

“When we were one of the four couples chosen I would have said wow, I was shocked then but now they tell us that we won, it`s even more shocking,” said Lazorka.

The couple still plans to have a Catholic wedding in a church then a big family party with loved ones back in Lycoming County.

Once again the wedding will air this Friday on WNEP.
