WILLIAMSPORT — A man found guilty of murder in Lycoming County will spend 20 to 40 years in prison.

William Kemp of Williamsport was sentenced on Wednesday.

Kemp was convicted in September in the shooting death of Thomas Schmitt of Allentown.

Authorities say Schmitt was killed after getting into a fight with Kemp in 2012 in Williamsport.

“Third degree: killing that resulted from indifference or negligence. Usually there must be a legal duty (parent – child), but can also include crimes like driving drunk and causing a fatal accident.”
so if you run to your car, and get a gun, to shoot what I am presuming is an unarmed person because you’re pissed off at him, is simple indifference or negligence, WITHOUT intent? what does everyone think he was going to do with the gun, tickle the guy to death? he shot him SEVERAL times, this POS needs life, MAYBE with the option of parole, for what for I don’t know..
