WILKES-BARRE — A department store in Luzerne County is closed because of a broken water pipe.
That broken pipe flooded the first floor of Boscov’s on South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre.
The fire chief says the frigid weather caused the water pipe that leads to a sprinkler system to break sending water everywhere.
There is no word on when Boscov’s in downtown Wilkes-Barre will reopen.
