“Electric City Bowl” Trophy Awarded

SCRANTON — The fathers of two NFL stars from Scranton met Thursday at West Scranton High School to kick off a new rivalry.

When head coach Mike Munchak’s Tennessee Titans played the Oakland Raiders and quarterback Matt McGloin a few weeks ago, some area fans decided to create a trophy that mimics the famous Bell Game trophy.

The intention was to give the trophy to the winner of the Titans/Raiders game, dubbed the Electric City Bowl.

Turns out the Titans won that week, so the trophy was awarded to Mike Munchak, Sr.
