Newswatch 16 sports talked with Schuylkill Haven head football coach Mike Farr on his team preparing for Friday's state playoff game against Old Forge and the Hurricanes current winning streak. Schuylkill Haven comes into Friday's state quarterfinal match-up with three losses. One against Wyomissing at the beginning of the season-losing to last year's AA state champion, and the other two losses at the hands of North Schuylkill and Tamaqua. Since then Schuylkill Haven hasn't looked back with wins over Bristol, Tri-Valley and Williams Valley and big wins over Jim Thorpe, Mahanoy Area and Blue Mountain.
Kickoff is set for Friday night at Blue Mountain high-school off Route 61 in Schuylkill County. Old Forge fans can take Interstate 81 south and then hit Route 61 south towards Reading to get to the game.
