FELL TOWNSHIP--- The Lackawanna County coroner told Newswatch 16 an 18-year old teenager is dead after a one-car crash in Lackawanna County.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the corner of Jefferson Street and North West Road in Fell Township between Simpson and Vandling.
The coroner said Casey Cordova, 18, of Carbondale was the driver of the vehicle that crashed.
State police say she missed a curve while driving and hit a tree.
She died at the scene of the crash.
The deadly crash remains under investigation in Lackawanna County.
