PLYMOUTH -- Friends and family of a teenager battling Leukemia in Luzerne County organized a fundraiser on Sunday in her honor.
Taylor Thoryk received the diagnosis a couple of weeks ago. In that short time, her friends put together a soccer tournament to raise money for Taylor and her family.
Taylor is on the soccer team at Wyoming Valley West High School. 13 teams ranging in age from elementary to high school age players took part in the tournament.
There were also basket raffles, food, and live entertainment at the fundraiser.
