GREGG TOWNSHIP — A police chase Tuesday afternoon ended in a corn field in Union County.

State police say they tried to pull over a car on Route 15 south of Allenwood.

The driver wouldn’t stop, drove a few hundred yards into a corn field, got out and was spotted along the road looking for a ride.

Troopers say they tracked the man to Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland and arrested him a short time later.

Authorities said Tyrone Davis, 21, of Philadelphia is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, driving without a license, and failure to keep right.

He’s been charged in Union County and is behind bars.
