MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Five high school students were injured in a crash Tuesday morning in Monroe County.

The athletic director at East Stroudsburg North High School said the five students are all members of the girl's volleyball team.

They were heading home from a sleep-over when the car they were in slid off Tom X road near Marshalls Creek.

One girl was flown to the hospital. The others went by ambulance.

East Stroudsburg North's athletic director also said the students in the district didn't have school Tuesday because of  parent-teacher conferences.

The students' conditions are unknown at this time.

A volleyball game against Pius X was cancelled Tuesday because of the accident in Monroe County.
