TOWANDA — A water boil advisory went into effect Sunday for homes and businesses served by the Towanda Water System.
The system serves Towanda, North Towanda Township and Wysox Township in Bradford County.
Officials say parts of the system lost pressure sometime Sunday.
The water is now being tested. Until the results are back, people in homes and businesses served by the Towanda Water System should boil their water before drinking it.
