Police Investigate Cat Shot in Lackawanna County

ARCHBALD — A woman in Lackawanna County is offering a reward for information about who shot her cat which caused it to need surgery.

Police said, Tinkerbelle the cat was shot in the leg with a BB gun near her home in Archbald on Gaughan Court earlier this week.

The cat’s owner said she had Tinkerbelle while she served in the military overseas.

She said she’s lucky Tinkerbelle didn’t have to have her leg amputated.

Police in Archbald are investigating the incident.

Tinkerbelle is expected to come home Sunday after the surgery for that shooting in Lackawanna County.
