WILKES-BARRE -- Police in Luzerne County are investigating a shooting near some townhomes in Wilkes-Barre.
It happened outside Boulevard Townhomes on South Welles Street in Wilkes-Barre around 1 a.m. Friday.
Authorities said one man was shot in the head. The other shooting victim had minor injuries.
Police reported Friday morning that one man had died and that a homicide investigation was underway. They now say that is not the case and there is no homicide investigation.
Police said the shooter is still on the run.
The names of the victims have not been released.
There is no word on what led to the shooting.
