COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP — A judge has stopped an order that revoked the charter of a school in Monroe County.

The Pocono Mountain Charter School near Tobyhanna is appealing last month’s decision revoking its charter. On Tuesday, a judge put that revocation on hold until December. That’s when a state appeals court will hear the case.

On the school’s website it says the place plans to remain open while the appeal process is underway.

About 400 students attend the school in Monroe County.

A meeting of the school board is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
