Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Dead In Snyder County

JACKSON TOWNSHIP — A crash Sunday afternoon in Snyder County killed a motorcyclist and left his passenger badly hurt.

State Police say Cole Rice of Mifflinburg was headed south on Route 204 near New Berlin when a car crossed into his lane.

The coroner says Rice died at the scene.

Lorie Koberdorf, also of Mifflinburg, was flown to Geisinger Medical Center with serious injuries.

Investigators say both people were not wearing helmets.

The driver of the car, 79 year old Frederick Frost of Selinsgrove, was not hurt in the crash.

State Police are still investigating the deadly crash in Snyder County.
