Alleged Robber Holds Knife To Cashier’s Throat

SCRANTON — Police in Lackawanna County are looking for the man who robbed a business at knife-point.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Wednesday at Dollar General on Main Street in Fell Township, near Simpson.

Authorities say the man jumped the counter, held a knife to the cashier’s throat and got away with cash.

Police have not released how much money was allegedly stolen.
