SCRANTON -- Artists showed off their work Saturday in Scranton.

It was part of the city's Downtown Arts Festival.

The Lackawanna County Arts and Culture Department and Scranton M.A.D.E. organized the Arts on the Square festival. It allows local artists to display their work.

Folks are very happy with how the event turned out.

"It's been a great crowd today and it's been really well organized," said artist Aubrey McClintock. "It's really great to have so many people out here, supporting something like this and getting to be with other people who are doing the same thing as you. It's a really good positive atmosphere."

The festival wasn't just about art. Various venders and performers were on hand at the event in Scranton.
