EAST STROUDSBURG — State Police in Monroe County believe an employee is responsible for stealing money from Weis Supermarket in East Stroudsburg located along Route 402.
The alleged theft happened Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
Troopers say the unnamed employee removed $2,000 dollars from the store’s safe.
The theft investigation continues in Monroe County.
