While many of us have rebounded from the recent heat wave not sweating or feeling as sluggish this week, our landscaping might be a totally different story.

"If your plants are looking a little ratty. Try to identify the problem whether it be an insect or a fungus. To look for fungus, check the underside of the leaves. Last year, downy mildew was introduced so if your impatients are looking ratty, check for black spots. It`s probably downy mildew. You can try to treat with a fungicide with an organic and synthetic solutions," said landscaping expert Rich Vaicekauskas.
