HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A man from Luzerne County is locked up on sex charges.
Police accuse William Esser, 27, of Wilkes-Barre, of picking up a woman in Wilkes-Barre earlier this month.
Investigators say he drove the victim to a secluded area in Hanover Township and sexually assaulted her, while a 4-year-old child was in the car.
Police say Esser then took the woman back to Wilkes-Barre and dropped her off.
Esser is now locked up in Luzerne County prison.
