HAZLETON — Police are looking for a thief who stole expensive metal from a home in Hazleton.
Police said a man broke into a basement on North Laurel Street around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
About 30 to 40 feet of copper piping was taken from the home in Hazleton.
According to police, the building owner saw a male between 5’10” and 6’0″ with red hair standing in the backyard of the building carrying a black bag.
Police said the man then left the area and walked toward Wyoming Street. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
