Student Dies After ATV Crash

LEMON TOWNSHIP — A student from Tunkhannock Area High School was killed in an ATV crash over the weekend.

Christopher Packer, 17, died when his ATV crashed along Vago Road in Lemon Township, near Tunkhannock around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Packer was a junior at Tunkhannock and was a member of the wrestling team.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.

He will be buried during a private ceremony following the service.
