SCRANTON -- A man from Lackawanna County was sentenced Tuesday for attempting to lure an underage girl online.
Jeffrey Pettinato of Old Forge received 10 years in federal prison and will have to register as a sex offender for life.
Last summer, authorities say he used a computer to try to persuade a minor to take part in sexual activity.
He pleaded guilty to online enticement in January.
