Hotel Guests Forced Out By Broken Water Line

MOOSIC — Several guests at a hotel in Lackawanna County were forced out Tuesday because of a broken water pipe.

Moosic’s fire chief tells us a pipe on the third floor of Towneplace Suites Marriott on Montage Mountain burst around 2:45 p.m.

Firefighters were called to shut off the water.

Some guests at the hotel in Lackawanna County were moved to another one next door.
