STROUDSBURG -- A group of people spent their morning giving back to Mother Earth in Monroe County.
About two dozen people who work for a local landscaping business planted flowers, raked, and cleaned up a park along Ann Street in Stroudsburg.
A few community members also pitched in to help and got their family from out of town to help as well.
We're retired and what we do back home is volunteer so when our daughter said 'hey mom, dad, we signed you up for this,' it fits. If we were at home, we'd be out doing the same thing," said Marilyn Schwartz of California.
The owner the landscaping business tells us he chose the park in Stroudsburg because he noticed that it had become a bit of an eyesore.
