TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP – Troopers in Wyoming County said a man suspected of driving under the influence crashed his pickup truck into a police cruiser early Sunday morning.
State Police at the Tunkhannock barracks told Newswatch 16 that the wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. on Route 1001.
Troopers said two Tunkhannock Township Police officers in the cruiser that was hit are recovering from minor injuries.
According to investigators, Adam Emmi of Tunkhannock is in custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
