TOBYHANNA — A teacher in Monroe County was in court Wednesday on child sex charges.
Christopher Martinelli, a teacher at Pocono Mountain West High School, gave up his right to a hearing.
He was charged last week with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student at his home near Tobyhanna.
The school district has suspended Martinelli from his position at the high school.
