Dog Found Bound in Duct Tape

GREENE TOWNSHIP -- A dog was discovered in Greentown with duct tape around its mouth and both its legs.

The Humane Society police officer in Pike County is hoping more witnesses will step forward so charges can be filed against whoever is responsible.

State police, the state dog warden, and a Humane Society police officer in Pike County are all investigating.

According to the Humane Society police officer, the dog was found in Greentown last week.

The Humane Society police officer believes a man who lives in Greentown is responsible for taping the dog's mouth shut and binding its legs together as well.

The animal is recovering at a veterinarian`s office.

The man believed to be responsible for the abuse hasn`t been charged yet. Charges are expected in the next few days.
