SCRANTON — A local musician was sentenced Tuesday for his part in a drug ring in Lackawanna County.
Clarence Spady received five years of probation.
He was accused of possessing and running cocaine.
“I’m just ready to put this behind me, I’m ready to move on with my life, and maybe now I can process that we were inducted into the blues hall of fame,” said Spady.
Spady was one of 36 people arrested in Scranton in 2011.
Investigators said the suspects were all part of an elaborate drug operation with ties to the Bloods gang in New York City.
