The Dunmore Bucks are one win away from capturing a state title. They defeated the Blue Devils of Bellwood-Antis Friday night at a cold and rainy Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall by a score of 40-19.

Dunmore running back Daiqwon Buckley ran for over two hundred yards in the game.

In the first quarter, Buckley ran in for the opening score for the game. Bellwood-Antis quarterback Owen Worthing answered with an eleven yard run on a sixty-three yard scoring drive.

The second quarter was all Buckley. The Dunmore running-back ran for two scores to end the first half. Bellwood-Antis did manage to score once.

Bellwood-Antis fumbled on the opening drive of the third quarter, and the Bucks went on a twelve play, seventy yard drive ending with an Austin Seamon touchdown.

Seamon and Buckley sealed the deal in the fourth quarter with a pair of touchdowns, while Bellwood-Antis scored with less than a minute on the clock.

Dunmore advances to the state final next week against powerhouse Clairton, who haven’t lost a game in years.
