MOOSIC -- Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is the fifth and final movie in the Twilight saga and it is what die-hard fans, known as Twi-hards, said they have been waiting for since the saga began.

"It's such a big thing, and it means a lot to everybody," said Shelby Petrillo of Scranton.

Cinemark in Moosic had a marathon Twilight special that started at noon Thursday.

Fans paid for tickets weeks ago to watch all five movies.

Some fans were at the theater at 10:30 a.m. for the event.

"I'm down with it. I love Twilight. It's like, I don't know how to explain it, I love the way it's a love story mixed in with action. I don't know how to describe it. It's just a really good movie plan," said Morgan Hewitt of Pittston.

"The movies are amazing. It's kind of like it's our Harry Potter but for Twilight. It's definitely awesome," agreed Alana Kozloski of Pittston.

The final movie pits vampire couple Bella and Edward, their friends and family against another coven of vampires.

Most of the Twi-hards Newswatch 16 spoke with know how the story ends. They have read the books the movies are based on, but they said they were excited all the same.

"I'll probably be here like 10 times, seriously," laughed Lauren Mekilo of Taylor.

The final Twilight movie is expected to net $700 million worldwide on opening weekend.
