Toddler Trapped in Storm Drain

DUNMORE — State and local police were called to Monroe Avenue in Dunmore around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night, after an 18-month-old child was dropped into a storm drain.

The chief of police said, the child’s father was carrying the boy, and another child when the toddler fell out of his arms.

Police said when they arrived, the boy was not breathing.

The child is being treated this morning at Geisinger Medical Center, near Danville.
