Woman Injured In Mountain Top Fire Dead

FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP -- A woman injured in a fire Tuesday has died.

The fire started at the home along Pine Lane in the Glen Summit area of Mountain Top around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said Chris and Tracey Zero were inside with their two dogs at the time of the fire.

The coroner said the 44-year-old woman died at the Lehigh Valley Hospital last night.

The couple has two teenage boys who were not home when the fire started.

Investigators have not yet said why they consider the fire suspicious or exactly how the woman died.

Chris Zero remains in critical condition.
