NANTICOKE — Reports of someone with a gun forced a school in Luzerne County into lockdown for a time Thursday.
Nanticoke police now tell us they have taken one man into custody. They tell us that the man was found with a 12-gauge shotgun and that the man had fired a shot in the woods near Greater Nanticoke high school.
Police said there was never a threat to the school and that the school is no longer on lockdown.
Nanticoke police are still deciding what charges, if any, the man in custody might face.
