SCRANTON- Police in Scranton say an early morning stabbing happened because a man got tired of waiting in line at the drive thru at McDonald's.

Investigators say a man in his car was waiting in the McDonald's drive thru on South Washington Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police believe he got frustrated about the wait, got out of his car, and stabbed the man waiting in line ahead of him.

When police got there, they arrested the man.

Police have not given information on the victim from Sunday morning's stabbing.
