WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- That Bounce Place is a bounce center for kids' birthday parties and bounce rentals.

It's been a year since its location next to KMart in Edwardsville closed down because of the flood. Now the business has bounced back into a new location in Wilkes-Barre Township.

No longer a furniture store, this building along Route 309 in Wilkes-Barre Township is now a bounce business. That Bounce Place re-opened there.

Its original spot in Edwardsville closed last September when 10 feet of flood water rushed through the building.

"It's been a rough year. We had a limited, temporary location, a scaled down version of the bounce place, but now we're back to the largest bounce place in Pennsylvania," said owner Larry Barnes.

In October, Barnes opened a temporary location in Pittston.

He hoped to move back into the original spot near KMart in Edwardsville.

In March, he said the landlord told him they would not be reopening anything in the Mark Plaza except KMart.

Now in Wilkes-Barre Township, Barnes has a larger space, which means more fun for the kids.

The owner said there are still a few things about the new place that need to be tweaked and fixed up but already business is booming.

"Twenty, 30 phone calls a day right now to see when we're reopening. We have 10 parties booked for our first weekend, so hopefully things will go well here," said Barnes.

Despite all the moving around, parents and kids are happy to see the business is back.

"It's beautiful. They did a really nice job renovating and it's good that theyr'e still around. I'm glad that they chose this location. It's a little more convenient right next to the highway," said Keith Glynn, of Old Forge.

"It's nice! It's nice," said Joel Cunningham, of Bloomsburg.

"Do you think you want to come back here again?" the reported asked.

"Yes!" said Cunningham.

That Bounce Place will have a grand opening at its new location next Saturday.
