Cars shows were held across the area over the weekend to raise money.

In Luzerne County, a car show was held to help out a high school band this year.

All types of vehicles were on display as part of the 29th annual Back Mountain Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show.

The show, held at the Luzerne County fairgrounds near Dallas, showcased more than 200 vehicles and bikes.

Money raised here will go to the Lake Lehman High School Band, which lost money because of state budget cuts.

"I enjoy the show. I enjoy having the car here and it's a fun day for everyone, you meet a lot of people and talk about the vehicles,” said George Cave of Dallas.

People at the show also enjoyed crafts, raffles, food and contests.

Another car show, this one in Schuylkill County brought dozens to the Tremont Elementary baseball field.

It was the 16th annual car and truck show.

Families enjoyed food, games and activities.

Money raised goes to the Tremont fire company in Schuylkill County.
