Marijuana Bust on Highway

TOBYHANNA -- Police in Monroe County are searching for two people who ran from officers after being stopped in their car on the highway Saturday night.  Authorities said they found marijuana in the vehicle.

Police said officers pulled the car over on Interstate 380 near the Tobyhanna exit just before midnight.

After being pulled over the driver and the passenger got out of the car and ran away.  Police brought search teams and dogs in to find the two people but were unable to locate them. 

Authorities said they found an undetermined amount of marijuana in the car.
