Arrest Made In Shooting

NOXEN — Authorities in Wyoming County think they have the man who fired shots at a car full of people over the weekend.

Wade Wright, 42, from Monroe Township, near Noxen, was arrested Monday.

The incident happened Sunday night on Route 29 in Noxen.

Troopers said Wright, who was on an ATV stopped the car with five people inside and flashed a handgun.

As the victims were driving away, authorities said Wright fired two shots; one of them hit a 58-year-old woman in the shoulder.

She was taken to the hospital.

Wright faces assault and reckless endangering charges.
