Woman Dies in Convertible Crash

LEHIGH TOWNSHIP -- A woman in Wayne County was killed in a car crash in Lehigh Township Saturday morning.

The Wayne County Coroner said Dawn Woodling, 77, died at the scene of the crash.

According to state police, a S-U-V driving on Route 507 in Lehigh Township hit a red convertible as it was pulling on to the road. 

Woodling, of Lehigh Township, was the passenger in the convertible and was thrown from the vehicle during the collision. The driver was taken to the CMC in Scranton.

All of the members of the S-U-V, two adults and three children, were taken to the hospital.
