Teacher Charged for Photographing Teens

A Luzerne County teacher was arrested Tuesday after police learned he allegedly used his cell phone to take pictures of female students.

David Shuga, a Dallas Middle School teacher, resigned last Monday after being suspended for misconduct.

The Dallas School District notified police that Shuga used his cell phone to take photos of several teenage female students without their knowledge.

He’s charged with invasion of privacy.
