A man from the Middle East who has been on the run for almost twenty years is now locked up after federal authorities nabbed him in Luzerne County.

U.S. Marshals and federal agents arrested Namer Yousef Al Daoud, 44, along South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said the man fled from Jordan in 1994 after a court there issued a warrant for his arrest for the murder of his own sister in 1992.
