Father of Meteorology?

When you hear the word "Meteorologist", you probably think of a person on TV who talks about the high and low temperatures.

Meteorology is the science of the atmosphere and it goes back to the time when the ancient Greeks studied the clouds, the wind and rain to see how they all relate to one another.

Having said that, Joe Snedeker's Wham Cam question is, who do you think is the "father" of Meteorology?
