Warden to Step Down

Wyoming County Commissioners confirmed Thursday that the warden at the county correctional facility will resign.

Warden Mickey Ameigh will officially step down from the position at the end of the business day on Friday. No reason was given for the resignation.

The interim warden will be Corporal Kenneth Repsher of Tunkhannock.

He has been a correctional officer with the Wyoming County Correctional Facility since 1992.
